Debussy Claude :
"Un artiste est par définition un homme habitué au rêve et qui vit parmi des fantômes".

BOUILLOT Sophie (1981)
At 9 years old, Sophie starts musical lessons. She learns the mandolin and notation in the Estudiantina de Roanne plectrum orchestra.
In 1992, she plays in this band and quickly perfected her instrumental technic thanks to some concerts and master classes.
In 1999, during her studies at the university of Saint-Etienne, she gets into the regional plectrum orchestra directed by Florentino Calvo.

Giving mandolin and musical theory lessons, she contributes to the development of this instrument.
Sophie plays on a Neapolitan mandolin from the Ateliers Gérome (Mirecourt - 88 Vosges) made in 1991.

BUISSON Cédric (1977)
As Sophie, Cédric starts music at the age of 9 in the same orchestra. He receives the bases of notation and guitar before getting into the band in 1989.
Thanks to many events of the
Estudiantina and to a real passion for music, Cédric begins studies of musicology at the university of Saint-Etienne where he gets Master diploma. In order to train some young musicians of the Estudiantina de Roanne, he gives guitar lessons to them.
In the same way, at the Conservatoire National de Région of Saint-Etienne, he starts to study musical theory and many master classes of leading orchestra.
To improve his instrument technic, he attends to master classes with
Eric FRANCERIES and Jean-Pierre CHARBONNEL.
Recently, one of his scores, Abmur, written for plectrum orchestra, published by Joachim TREKEL in Hamburg. This one was played during an international mandolin session in Hunspach in juillet 2007.
Cédric plays on a classical guitar by José Ramirez (Madrid - Espagne) made in 2000.
